Hello

Hello, I’m Dr Victoria Miller (you can call me Tori). I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a deep commitment to supporting people across all stages of life. From young children navigating big emotions, to adults managing complex challenges, and professionals seeking thoughtful supervision.
I believe meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each person’s experience.

Most people don’t come to therapy because everything is going well. Something isn’t working, or doesn’t feel right, or keeps repeating in ways that are hard to shift.
My role is to help make sense of that. To understand what’s been happening, how things connect, and what might be getting in the way and then to work with you to move things forward.
I’ve been working as a psychologist for over 18 years across both public and private settings. I’ve held a number of leadership roles, and for the past 15+ years I’ve supervised students, registrars, and registered psychologists. I’m also a board-approved supervisor.
I’ve appeared on ABC Radio as a guest psychologist, speaking on a range of topics, particularly relationships across different stages of life.
I aim to create a space where you can be open without feeling judged. I’m warm, honest and thoughtful.
My goal is to help you feel more steady, more capable, and better able to move forward in a way that feels manageable.

How I Work
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, tailored to each individual. I draw on:
-
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Trauma-informed and trauma-focused approaches
-

-

I take time to understand your goals and regularly check in to ensure therapy feels useful and relevant.
